“It’s not how big the house is, it’s how happy the home is”
We at BIS believe in inculcating family values at budding stage. These values are important as they provide a foundation and a source of protection, guidance, affection and support. Our children were familiarized with different types of houses. Cut outs of different types of houses were hung in corridors at the start of month. The students also painted , decorated the paper plates to make their own gingerbread man and igloo house which are remarkable piece of art work.

Finger puppets are always the best means to spark the interest of
children. The story on family values was narrated to KG – I children using

reach great heights, considering this we introduced our kindergarteners to
different family members and their importance in our lives. Moreover, they were also taught
basic etiquettes like, how one must knock at the door before entering the room , help friends and
family members when required.

Roger Bacon (1214-1294), an English Franciscan friar, philosopher, scientist and scholar of the 13th century, once stated: "Neglect of mathematics works injury to all knowledge, since he who is ignorant of it cannot know the other sciences or the things of the world."
