Algerian Eye Stitch: An “eye” is formed in the center of this stitch.Come up at 1, go down in center, and pull tightly toward 3.Come up at 3, go down in center, and pull tightly toward 5;continue working in this manner until stitch is complete(stitches 5-15).

The design was stitched on a 23" x 14" piece of Zweigart® Taupe Cashel Linen® (28 ct). It was stitched over 2 fabric threads. Two strands of floss were used for Cross Stitch, Backstitch, and AlgerianEye Stitches. It was custom framed.
