NAHREP 2016 Policy Positions

With more than 20,000 members and 35 chapters, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate
Professionals® (NAHREP®) is one of the nation’s largest Hispanic business organizations. Annually it reevaluates
its position on a number of key policy issues which have a direct impact on the Association’s ability to
accomplish its mission. The 2015 Call to Action urged Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to implement affordable
housing goals for 2015 – 2017. This successfully took place in August 2015.
In 2016, access to affordable mortgage credit is of such critical near term importance that NAHREP is
compelled to issue this Call to Action to regulators and policymakers
