Namdev Shrigaonkar, Joint Secretary (IOA) inaugurated the event, Dr. Patel Mohammed Illyas, the Physical Education Director, BCU was the Guest of Honor. The dignities wished the participant and asked them to uphold the sporting spirit. The function was presided over by Dr. Bhavani M R, Principal NDC. The valedictory function of National Tackle Football Championship 2019 was organized at Nagarjuna Vidyanikethan Ground. Shri Sandeep Chaudhari, C.E.O. (AFFI) and Shri. Sathish M Gowda, President (KFAFA), and dignitaries distributed the prizes. The General Secretary (KFAFA). Shri. Mohammed Sidgathulla presided over the ceremony. The winners for the 7 th National Tackle Football Championship 2019 was bagged by Telangana Team and Karnataka Team emerged as Runner up. Prof. Rajanna R, P.E.Director, NDC proposed the vote of thanks and the curtain was drawn for the AFFI 7 th National Tackle Football Championship 2019. Mr. Hemanth C and Mr. Wilson A K of 5 th Sem BCA, Mr. Dhruva of 3 rd Sem BBA, were the team members from Nagarjuna Degree College, Yelahanka.

Kreeda Chaitanya Club Inauguration
Inauguration of sports activities for the academic year 2019 – 2020 under the banner of “Kreeda
Chaitanya - 2019” was held on 17th August 2019 at NDC Seminar Hall. Mr. Madan Gowda N, an
International Kick Boxing fighter and Coach was the Chief Guest for the inauguration, Dr. Bhavani M R,
Principal NDC presided over the function. More than 100 students’ both alumni and faculty of NDC
attended the function.
Prof. Ajitha Krishnprasad, Vice Principal of NDC wished the students, Prof. Rajanna R, P.E.Director
proposed the vote of thanks for the function came to a closure with the National Anthem.

REPORT ON ANNUAL INTER CLASS ATHLETIC MEET 2019 – 20
The 2nd Annual Inter Class Athletic Meet NDC, Yelahanka was held on 27th September 2019 at NCET
Campus Ground, Chikkaballapura. It was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. Rohith Gangadhar T R,
Fencing coach and Eklavya Awardee along with our Principal Dr. Bhavani M R and Dr. Srikanta Murthy,
Principal NCET.
The Director of NGI Prof. Manohar Narajji presided over the function and a good number of students
teaching and non-teaching staffs also participated in various athletic events and won prizes.
The overall individual championships was bagged by Ms. Nafisa M of 1st Sem B.Sc and Mr. Pradheun J P
of 1st sem BBA women and men respectively. Prof. Ajitha Krishnprasad welcomed the gathering, Prof.
Rajanna R, P.E.Direcor proposed the vote of thanks.

NDC ANNUAL INTER CLASS CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2019
The Annual Inter Class Cricket Tournament was held on 21st September 2019, at Nagarjuna
Vidyanikathan ground, Yelahanka. It was inaugurated by Mr. Ramanujan S N, Table Tennis Coach and
Vijay Rathna awardee. Our Principal Dr. Bhavani M R distributed the Winners and Runners prizes. The
winners for the cricket tournament 2019 – 20 was bagged by I Sem BBA students and V Sem B.Com
emerged as Runner Up.

Mr. Niranjan M of III Sem BBA represented 37th State Level Teakwondo Kyorugi Championship 2019 at
Decathalon Anubhava, Bangalore. From 23rd to 25th August 2019 and won the Silver Medal and 1st
beginners State Level tournament Gold Medal. He has attended the International Kyorugi Teakwondo
seminars held on 15th & 16th February 2020 held at Doddaballapura, Bangalore Rural.
Mr. Prasanna Kumar G of III Year BBA participated in
Bangalore University Inter Collegiate Teakwondo
competition held on 14th February 2020 secured Gold Medal
under 58 Kg category organized Government College,
Doddaballapur and he is selected for All India University
Competition.
