Pray for James Neal & Emily Parkinson who get married this Friday! The last Encounter before the summer will take place on Sunday 10 th July. Because of the potential of a period of vacancy, or that our new vicar may be arriving in the autumn, we are not going to resume Encounter following the summer break. We are hoping that all Encounter members will find space to worship and serve our church at the remaining Sunday services. If you have any questions, please talk to Joe Pienaar. During the St Chadʼs GAP process, feedback from the church family led the PCC to think about how to help our various congregations connect and build community/relationship better. This July we will be having our first ʻConnect in summerʼ event. We hope that as many of the church family will come along to Lyme Park on 17 th July from 1pm. We hope to have a very relaxed afternoon which will create an opportunity to fellowship together. We will begin with a picnic together (bring your own!), but the rest of the afternoon will be fairly flexible. Whether you fancy a walk around the grounds, a game of cricket, or just a chat, there will be a way for everyone to get involved. If you intend to come along, please sign up at the back of church and indicate whether you will need transport, or could offer transport. Lyme Park is a National Trust property so parking is free for members. Please bring: Your picnic, mats/chairs, any ball games etc.
