I extend a hearty welcome to all of you on the occasion of the 50th
Anniversary of our college. It is customary on my part to give to offer an
objective and comprehensive account of the curricular and co-curricular
activities of the year. Before getting into it, I would like to express my
happiness over the successful conduct of Golden Jubilee Celebrations in a
big way. A galaxy of dignitaries graced the celebrations.
On the first day, NES Golden Jubilee was celebrated. Dr. Kodela Siva
Prasada Rao, Honourable Speaker, Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Justice
Sri J. Chalameswar, Judge, Supreme Court of India spoke on the need of
quality education. Dr. K. Basavapunnaiah presided over the function.
Retired Staff of all institutions under NES were felicitated.
On the 3rd
February 2018, College community celebrated its Golden
Jubilee. Vice-President Sri M. Venkaiah Naidu gave a spirited speech on
the Alumni Day. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Sri N. Chandrababu
Naidu said that he would support all our academic initiatives. The
overwhelming response of alumni took us by surprise. They climbed up the
ladder of success and would like to extend their help to the college. The
cultural programmes were very classy and indeed the scintillating
performances of students belonging to RVR and JC College of Engineering
and JKC College won the hearts of one and all.
Though we planned to celebrate our Golden Jubilee Anniversary on the
3rd
of February, we could not organize it owing to the inordinate delay in
coming to the venue owing to bad weather. However, the success of
Golden Jubilee Celebrations cheered our hearts.
Now I shall say a few words about academic results of Intermediate,
Degree and Post Graduation.

The results are satisfactory but we should not be complacent about them.
We should work harder in order to get better results.
