The Town of Kernersville, North Carolina needed unique and eye-catching signage to show off their man-made wetland at Ivey Redmond Sports Complex to entertain and inform families who visit the park about the diverse ecosystem.

This dragonfly is a real, 12-foot steel sculpture that can be seen and enjoyed in front of the wetland. Educational information about plants, animals and conservancy efforts don the wings and lotus flower. I collaborated with various creative professionals to create the finished product seen in my original photography.

A fictional map of the Sports Complex and interactive flyer could provide additional information to hundreds of visitors to the park.

Mike Geenen, the president ofGreen Watershed Restoration, wanted to rebrand his environmental engineering company to be GWR in order to be more streamlined.

A Colorado company, GWR is represented by towering mountains and greenery. Bold, slab letters represent the strength and integrity of the brand.

Lego seeks to reinvigorate children’s excitement for playing with their building blocks based on a worldwide trend for children to opt for screen-based entertainment instead of traditional play activities.

My custom-made typography explores the diversity of what can be created with Lego building blocks in this series of magazine advertisements. The colorful and unique lettering telling children to play more is contrasted with dull descriptions of other activities.

Logo Re-design and Collateral for Jennings Environmental

Jennings Environmental is a well-established environmental engineering company with stream restoration projects all across the United States.

Although the brand is already well known and highly regarded, the company sought a more modern and relatable logo along with print collateral to make their brand more accessible in the market where they thrive, face-to-face interactions and networking opportunities.

I simplified the logo by focusing on natural elements related to the client’s work in a more meaningful and less abstract way. I improved the typography by removing poor kerning and enhancing legibility.

Levy Snacks Dog Treats is a fictional brand focusing on summertime dog snacks. I utilized typography and a fun illustration to bring the brand to life. Levy the cheerful pit bull adds whimsy and personality to the brand.

Facebook and Instagram are just two avenues that Levy Snacks could use to connect with dog lovers.

This design was inspired by a growing trend in today’s healthcare for patients and doctors to opt for alternative practices for healthy lifestyles.

I used one of my photos of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as another artist’s work to highlights the vast treasure of healing potential in the great outdoors. Rugged mountains contrast with expansive blue skies to move the reader’s eye through the pages.

Young Living’s conference for essential oil distributors, Think Big, needed a visual campaign to promote their event and products.

A tiny drop of oil makes a big impact on people’s personal journeys to health as well as their potential for great income through being a successful distributor of Young Living Essential Oils. Hence, the drop of oil shines brightly in the logo design.

Three similar advertisements were created in this campaign: a billboard ad, a street sign ad, and a magazine ad.

Each ad features an image of something that Young Living holds in the highest regard: the natural plant elements used in their 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Young Living created a custom blend of essential oils for the event called “Think Big Blend.” This is a limited-edition blend offered only at the conference.

T shirts with a bold design offer a practical memento and conversation-starter.

Glass water bottles are an eco-friendly and safe way for people to enhance their drinking water with their favorite essential oils.

C. S. Lewis’ classic science fiction trilogy, the first of which was written 80 years ago, gets an update for today’s audiences.

Bold graphics nod towards Lewis’ themes of outer space and looking for something greater in the universe.

The Steep Canyon Rangers, one of the most successful bluegrass bands in the country, is going on a cross-continental tour with 50 stops in 2018.

With a focus on the natural beauty that originally influenced their music, this series of concert posters combines art and photography to announce some of their prominent tour stops.

My original photography creates a personal feel to this series.
