Greetings,

What a busy, yet blessing filled summer! We have been working hard this summer

getting to know each other and working for the Kingdom of God. We continue that mis-

sion into the school season. As we get busy over the next few months, either in our jobs,

our school, or both, let us never forget our mission, our calling; to share Christ. I wanted

to share with you from Acts 8:31. Philip was talking with the Ethiopian about what he

was reading and asked him if he understood it. “And he said, ‘Well, how could I, unless

someone guides me?’ And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.” Be ready and

willing at any point to help someone better understand the Scriptures we ask them to

read. You don’t have to be a theologian, just a believer. If you don’t have the answers,

tell them you will get it to them. How will anyone ever learn, or grow, if there is no one

to guide them. We are to guide them. You can do it!

It is my prayer that everyone have a great month.

May the Lord bless you all,

Calling all girls ages 3rd - 6th grades to join the Abbie Ferguson Girls Mission

Group beginning Sunday, August 6th at 6:00pm. Peggy Meaker will be sharing

about men and women who follow the call to missions both locally and into the

world. There will be crafts, lots of fun and Bible memory. Invite your friends as

you learn about people who are bold and courageous as they share the Gospel.
