  • Thank you so much to those of you who managed to send in your work, it was really lovely to see how well you are getting on.

I have included some great examples here, well done to these children you will know who you are.

Remember to always use your best handwriting.

  • Remember to always read your work carefully to check it makes sense.

Remember to always start a new sentence with a capital letter.

Always use a capital letter for the name of people and places.

Use a variety of sentence starters or time connectives.

Think about the key points of the story and include as much detail as possible.

  • Think about last week’s story of Theseus and the Minotaur, in your own words summarise what the story is about. Set your work out on the time line. Think about the order of events, use time connectives to join your ideas together.

  • Read your work carefully.

Have you included all of the important points?

What happened in the beginning, the middle and the end of the story.

Who were the main characters? What were they like?

Have you used time connectives to string your ideas together?

Remember to use a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence and for names of people and places.

  • When you have completed this task you can send it to school to be marked, so either take a photo of your work or type your ideas and send them through. Send your work to [email protected]
