ENDANGERED DESERT ANIMALS

• Gila monsters – Gila monsters are

classified as endangered because much of their habitats have been taken over by people.

• Bactrian camel– People take them from

their habitats because they can carry heavy stuff, and they are used as work animals.

• Oryx– They were killed for their

horns and coats. They were almost completely hunted down but they got sent to a safe place.
