The goal in this project is to create a harmony and accessible environment for this non- profit organization and the community center. It is a place where people can easily engage in. The furniture are designed with the flexibility of assembling. The design has regular linear shape to create a flow which responds to the concept of unity of a community center. There is a major outdoor place for people to have a small casual meeting or for people to relax and enjoy the green.

It’s a modern style hotel in St. Martin, located by the beach. The big open lobby and waiting area allow people to access the space easily. Visitors will feel the fresh air coming from water falling down upon major walls. There is different lighting color scheme for creating unique atmosphere in each space. The shape of the lights are inspired by ocean creatures. The waiting area is half open to the beach, so that visitors can engage with a space which is extended from the natural surroundings of the hotel.

For a chef, cooking is always about natural, freshness, and simplicity. In this project, living room and kitchen are combined into an open space, including a planting area which creates a flow from nature to the table. The majority of the furnishing and material are made from wood, with a warm color tone, which reflects client’s character.

The design concept is to contrast the original material of the site, which is exposed concrete and wood, with new materials. Trans-parent, soft and colorful materials are used in order to create different experiences for each floor. As visitors walk up, they will experience the dynamic of the space.
