UNTILL NOW I NEVER USED 3D EFFECTS IN ILLUSTRATOR.I started really simple, just pick some letters and start to develop strange shapes, some of them where really massive and to much deformated, so I could not read a character in it.

Also get to the point that 3d tool effect can give you a lot of posi-bilities but in the same time, it is a lot repeateable. And can become boring in some cases.Still I have a feeling that there is much more to explore.

I made playful compositions with generated forms. One for every letter of my name. I try to think how the letter is constructed and manipulate it shape, but also try to get away from standard look of character.
