Analysis

Creating my own movie poster

Colour- the colour scheme is effective in this movie poster as pink and purple is being used. These colours are associated with girls and are seen as feminine. This grabs the target audience, and also links in with the film.

Use of starts- This movie poster has the main stars of the film so this is effective as audiences can identify who is in the film. The girl in the red top on the left is the main caracter, and this is portrayed in the poster as she is the largest, making it appear that she is closest to the camera. The other three are further back and are usually see together in the film tself.Typography

Signs and symbols – no signs and symbols have been used in this movie poster.

Examples of movie posters from genre

Colour- like the previous poster the colour schemes are similar ( pink and purple) this tells us that the target audience again is teenage girls.Use of stars- again in the poster on the left the same structure of the positioning of characters has been used; main character at the front, people in a group together and further back

Taking the photos

Here are some screenshots I took of the fil. These four photos are at important parts of the film. After looking at all four I decided to base my second picture on the top right one. Using my models I took pictures of them in a car.
