We are going to consider two different types of feet according to the toe length:

Egyptian feet (big toe longer than the second one) Greek feet (second toe longer than the big one)

Egyptian toe: recessive (t) Genotype: tt Greek toe: dominant (T) Genotype: Tt/TT

The Greek toe, also called Morton’s toe, is caused by a short first metatarsal bone varies in relation with the second metatarsal. In Egyptian feet (right), a smooth curve can be traced through the joints at the bases of the toes. But in Greek foot (left), the line has to bend more sharply to go through the base of the big toe.
