Rural Community

A rural area has small communities called towns that are spread out far apart from each other. There is open space used for growing plants, food, and raising animals. Examples: Iva and Townville

Suburban Community

A suburban area is where we live. There are schools, stores, churches, buildings, and roads. You will find neighborhoods and it is located outside of a large city.

Urban Community

A urban community is like a suburban community but much bigger. Here you will find tall buildings, subways(trains), and lots of people. Examples: Greenville, New York City

Anderson Long Ago

Anderson used to be much smaller than it is now. There were not a lot of homes or buildings. There were a lot of farms, dirt roads, and not a lot of people. Today, we have stores, lots of homes, restaurants, and buildings.
