There's only a small step from darkness to light ! A new type of cementhas been set up which, by bonding special resins into a newly conceived
mix, allows manufacturing solid insulated yet light-transmittingconstruction panels. The excellent flow properties of the mix allowbonding a plastic resin matrix into a final panel that combines the
typical robustness of cement-made materials and the possibility offiltering light both inwards and outwards.
The resins if adequately inserted in the cementitious material have highertransparency performance than the optical fibres experimentally used in
this field, but also cost much less allowing for their application on a largescale.
• UV resistant • This process increases the properties of insulation and the resistance ofthe material
• Used as prefabricated panels for walls, structures, bulidings, furniture, lighting, etc...
Coloured interlayers
A range of high performances plastic film to create exterior or interior
laminated glass applications. This laminated glass combines technicalperformances inherent to laminated glass made with PVB (safety, security, acoustic, UV protection) to innovative aesthetic and decorative
properties.• With the 8 basic colors, films can be stacked to obtain more than a
thousand different shades. It does not stain and does not fade. • Available sizes: 1.22m,1.59,2.46m & 3.22m wide x200 & 400m long rolls
• Thickness: 0.38mm • colours: 8 base colours Coral rose Aquamarine Smoke grey Sahara SunRuby Red Sapphire Evening Shadow Golden Light

Cake 21 sees in all colors22 09 2012
A very nice work, based on a traditional architectural product : coloredlaminated glass (matériO G0123). Cake 21, franchised cake shops in Tokyo,
asked
People Architecture Office to take care of their interior design. Playing
with the 3 primary colors, glass transparency and overlapping possibilities, the architects multiplied the different ways of seing the interior of the
Both literally and figuratively! Not only does this table only weights 9.5 kg
for a 2.5x1m tabletop but its lightness also resides in its elegance andfinesse. Its unique structure is linked to the use of a specific corrugated
plywood, bringing strength while reducing by more than 70% its weightcompared to a traditionnal manufacturing process.More here (http://www.benjaminhubert.co.uk)
These veneered surface light transmitting panels have a translucent clear
core material. A specially developed adhesive let the light transmitthrough the layers and guarantee the solidity of the veneer and the core
material. The natural structure of a chosen veneer surface becomes verycharacteristic. The quality of the light transmitting is uniform, through the
whole size of the panel.• European and exotic species veneers: cherry, oak, maple, beech; bamboo, teak, zebrano, bird's eye maple
• Standard size: 2000x1000mm, thickness 4,0mm• Further special design effects
Flexible solid wood
Bendywood® is solid wood that can be worked like normal wood and thenbent in a cold and dry condition (without using steam or heat). In most
cases, Bendywood® can easily be bent by hand. The secret? Bendywood®is produced in an entirely natural way according to a special mechanical
process, starting from still green solid wood blocks that are compressedlengthwise for about 20% and subsequently dried. In this way, the cells ofthe wood are also compressed (like an accordion), which allows them to
straighten out again during the bending on the outside of the bendwithout getting into tension and breaking.
technical : Natural compressed wood. Bent shapes can be achieved veryeasily (no more need to glue lamellas together!). The production
technique is mechanical and does not involve any chemicals. Tightestachievable radius = 10 times its thickness (i.e. a 10mm thick section can bebent up to a radius of 100mm). The maximum available raw dimensions
amount to approx. 120 x 120 x 2200mm. Bendywood® is available inbeech, oak (European and American), ash, maple, cherry (European and
American) and walnut (European and American). Tropical woods can beprovided on request.
Concrete and glass beads
This material is made using ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced
concrete with glass beads in the surface. Light plays on them and theappearance seems to change with the viewing angle. It picks up light andchanges colour like a chameleon.• It keeps all mechanical an physics characteristics (Compression resistance, natural waterproof quality, ...).
• Appearance is equally attractive in natural or artificial light
Fibre cement shelf system04 10 2013
An interesting project by Brazilian designer Thomas Feichtner. Thin fibrecement panels are molded to create a stackable modular shelf system.Simple, can be used inside or outside, light and resistant...Thomas Feichtner 's website (http://www.thomasfeichtner.com)
Not just a collection of glass tubes with various diameters andthicknesses. DURAN® precision bore tubing is characterised by itsoutstanding chemical and physical properties. Minimal thermal expansionand resistance to thermal shock make DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3
suitable for a particularly wide range of applications.
Transparent acoustic partitioner
Rossoacoustic CP30 Space Divider is an innovative partitioner based on acompletely new concept and serves as the ideal complement to perfectinterior architecture. Easy to set up. Easy to move. Translucent,
transparent, soundabsorbing and sound shielding. Stable, light andpleasing to the eye.• 900 X 2265, 1665 mm and 1150 X 2265, 1665 mm. Thickness : 30 mm.

Sound insulation tiles
Hexagon is recyclable material made from wood wool, cement andwater. The natural components together provide many functional
characteristics.• Moisture-regulating: The moisture-resistant material evens out airhumidity by absorbing moisture from or emitting moisture to the ambientair.
• Heat-accumulating: Hexagon stores heat from the ambient air and emitsit when the air temperature falls. • Sound-absorbent: The open material structure reduces reflection ofsound and makes Träullit Dekor a good sound absorber.• Fireproof Low-emission
nota: Hexagon can be fitted magnetically using magnets pre-fixed to theback of the product. Thin metal sheets are fixed against the underlyingsurface (wall or ceiling) and the decorative panels can then be fixed byhand and rearranged according to taste.
