Castell Cas-gwent / Chepstow Castle Mae’r castell yma yn nhref Cas-gwent, ar y ffin rhwng Cymru a Lloegr, ac mae’r castell mewn cyflwr arbennig o dda. (Cas-gwent yw man cychwyn Llwybr Cenedlaethol Clawdd Offa hefyd.) The beautifully preserved castle can be found in the border town of Chepstow (home also to the start of Offa’s Dyke Path National Trail). Yn ogystal â chael tua £2 filiwn y flwyddyn gan Lywodraeth Cymru ac awdurdodau lleol yr arfordir, mae Cronfa Datblygu Rhanbarthol Ewrop (ERDF) wedi clustnodi bron i £4 miliwn dros bedair blynedd i gefnogi’r prosiect. The Wales Coast Path has been developed by the Welsh Government in partnership with the Natural Resources Wales, sixteen local authorities and two National Parks. In addition to funding from the Welsh Government and the coastal local authorities of approximately £2 million per year, the European Regional Development Fund has allocated nearly £4 million over four years in support of the project.
