Skies Move It, Move It$45, ages 2-5yrs, meets Wednesdays. This is a physical activity and movement class that will help your child learn how to shake, move and wiggle their way to fun. Location, BLDG 1045 Wed 530-615pm

Beginning Drawing:Cost $50 Nov 1, 8,15 & 22nd 1130-1pm, ages 8 and up.This class introduces students to various tools used for drawing, such as pencils, charcoal and ink. Students are also taught about form, mood and composition. Students will complete several projects in the class and will be encouraged to keep a sketch book to explore various drawing techniques. All student work will be eligible for a annual Art Gallery presentation and art show. Parents may participate for a $10 materials fee. Location, BLDG 3727 Neely Rd.

Introduction to Sewing for Fun!Cost $35 Saturday Nov 1 & 15th 3:30pm – 5pm. ages 7 and up.This class introduces students to various tools and techniques used for sewing and creating fun fiber arts projects. It will give you a taste of what is offered in the Ongoing Creative Sewing & Fiber Arts Program offered this year with the SKIES UNLIMITED Program. Students will get one on one instruction and be able to choose their individual project for that month. Parents may participate for a $10 materials fee.

Stained Glass & Glass Mosaic :Cost $60 meets Nov 1,8,15 &22nd 130-3pm; this is a Parent & Child Class. Students learn about Glass elements and the different properties glass offers while creating a glass mosaic tile. Parents work on a more challenged project of creating a sun catcher using stained glass technique. Grouting techniques will be taught to the younger children. This class will focuses on the safety of working with glass, cutting glass, soldering and finishing. (Students will complete 1 glass project, Stained glass class is for ages 10 and older, or a Glass mosaic tile for ages under 10) while learning the steps

Child Care Sessions:Child, Youth & School Services provides limited child care for FAME programs. Child care is provided on site at Melaven Gym.When: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.Cost: $35 per child per month

Children must be pre-registered at Parent Central Services, Bldg. 1049, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pre-registration begins the 20th of the month for the next month’s sessions.AFC Benefits for families of Deployed Soldiers, Wounded Warriors, or Fallen Soldiers may be used to pay for this care. For more information on child care, please call 353-7713. FAME Exercise and Child Care programs are closed for federal and training holidays.
