INTELLIAG® MVT CONTROL SYSTEMDesigned for flexibility and expansion when you need it, the IntelliAg® MVT is a two-channel control system for row crop planters which allows for application of 2 separate products or sections of the planter while simultaneously monitoring up to 84 seed sensors for individual row performance and population. In addition, the system offers optional manual individual row section control. The IntelliAg MVT can also be used as a planter population monitor only.

System Architecture The complete system outlined below illustrates the set-up for planter monitoring and control, which includes 84 rows of seed monitoring and 8 accessories. The portion highlighted in yellow outlines the architecture for planter monitoring only. The planter only monitoring set-up is capable of 72 rows of seed monitoring.

Planter Control Module (PCM)The IntelliAg MVT Planter Control Module mounts externally on the implement for application control and seed row monitoring. The PCM provides:

• Maximum of two closed loop control channels

• Outputs to control valves (2 PWM and 2 Servo)

• Inputs for control channel feedback sensors (360 ppr shaft sensor or Hall Effect sensor)

• Inputs for accessory sensors (3 hopper level, 3 air pressure, 2 rpm, implement lift)

• Input for 12 population/blockage sensors and addition of a WSMB or WSMB2 to monitor a maximum of 84 rows

• Input for optional shutoff drivers (output modules) for manual section control

Operation Specification:The IntelliAg MVT is capable of performing multiple application functions using one common software package. The main module on the ISO bus is the Planter Control Module (PCM) which accepts other member modules to accommodate additional seed sensors for planters larger than 12 rows.

The initial system offering is limited to one PCM and a maximum of five Working Set Member Modules (WSMB_18R) or Working Set Member 2 Modules (WSMB2_18R). The PCM accepts inputs from accessory sensors including 3 hopper level, 3 air pressure, 2 RPM, and implement lift.

The PCM will have maximum of two closed loop control channels and provide outputs to pulse width modulated control valves and accept inputs from control channel feedback sensors (360 pulse per revolution shaft sensor).
