Lately, he's also become one of the most chased-after. First, Callner's slapstick cliD for Twisted Sister's "\{le're Not Gonna Take It" was misinterpreted by the U.S. "The video's no gorier than 'Thriller,"' defends Callner, "and it's funnv besides." ' "I think it's the most ridicu- lous, inane decisiol I've ever heard," says the 45-year-old director in his Midwestern drawl. "I was not notified by MTv officiauy, though they me unofficially. "Just like that," recalls Callner, "I decided I wanted to be in rock'n'roll." To his chagrin and surprise, Callner became infamous dur" ing the so-called "porn rock"
