Ciarra is the main image and her sexuality is being used as she is catching all the males attention as she is wearing a tight leotard. She has her legs in the air, which could be to envy female readers and eye-catching to the males. The photo has clearly been edited, showing it is highly respected magazine.

Each title that that sections the different articles uses a girly type of font which suggests the magazine is aimed more towards a female audience. There are five different types of fonts used on this page, however it don’t look messy or busy because the layout has made it look professional.

The contents page don’t include much textual writing, and is kept simple to catch the readers attention and keep them interested. The page only has four articles which makes the reader want to read inside the magazine to find out more.

The background is simple as its just black and white which fits into the texts theme.

The title ‘Contents’ Is written in bold capital letters and the letters are structured unusually, but its clear enough to read.

The whole contents page is in black and grey which means any colour on top of it which catch the audiences attention. The main image is of Kanye West which means his fans will be attracted to this. The arm over his shoulder with the red heart in the hand, could possibly be presenting his personality, he is in love and is open about it. Or it could be the idea that someone has stole his heart. The connotations of the colour red is romance, and sexiness which could also be another side too his personality.

The artist is making clear eye contact with the reader suggesting he wants to connect with his fans, this will instantly draw the reader into the magazine. The artist Kanye West looks like he is on edge which may reflect his personality.

The way how the title is at the top right hand corner of the page, its in bold and is in capital letters. Its in bold black typography which makes it stand out over the background and links with the theme of the page of black and grey.

The writing on the left hand side is the last thing the reader will read as you read left to right, also the text isn’t exactly eye catching as its small compared to the rest of the page.

Even though all the colours on the page blend in together with the background, its effective because you can clearly identify the artist Kanye West. The jacket he is wearing also blends in with the colour scheme which also is effective as it draws attention to the artist face.

The main image of this contents page is the artist Usher. He has one of his hands in his pockets which suggests he thinks he Is cool. The image is the main focus of this page which could represent what the magazine stands for.

Usher also has shades on so you cannot tell where he is directly looking, his body language and posture tells us he is walking and looking towards the camera which could suggest he wants to connect with the audience.

The image is large and takes up most if the page which allows the reader to directly look at the image. Usher is also wearing a leather fur coat, and has a urban style which represents the RnB industry.

The colour scheme is grey and the background is darker on the top left corner, which then fades more to a lighter grey as it goes to the bottom right corner.

Ushers features such as the coat and clothing, is alighted which makes the image stand out and suggest he wearing expensive clothing and we should appreciate it. It also suggests that he needs his own personal space as he looks almost isolated.
