accomplished pianist? He’s also a skilled
composer, and composed the scores of several of the movies he directed, including Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River.

the movie Meatballs.
In the movie Walk the Line, Joaquin Phoenix
and Reese Witherspoon performed all of the
songs themselves. They also learned to play
their instruments from scratch.
Duke Ellington composed the music for the classic film
Anatomy of a Murder and has a
cameo as "Pie-Eye."
Henry Mancini wrote "Moon River" specifically
for actress Audrey Hepburn.
He said that while many versions of the song have been done, he feels that
Audrey's (in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
was the best.
The soundtrack album "Awesome Mix, Vol. 1“ from Guardians of the
Galaxy reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart-the first film
soundtrack ever to reach number one without a single original song.
Filmmaker and jazz music aficionado Woody Allen began playing the
clarinet as a child; he took his stage name
from clarinetist Woody Herman.
While the film Singing in the Rain focuses on the point that Kathy’s voice
is dubbed over Lina Lamont's, what is not
told is that, ironically, in several songs, Debbie Reynolds is actually
dubbed by Betty Noyes.
