THE GENIE AND HIS MAGIC LAMPNOVEMBER 10Using toe-tappin’ melodies and tongue twisting lyrics from the hit Broadway musical Aladdin, participants will be transported to Agrabah, where they’ll discover a magical lamp and re-enact Aesop’s story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves! Singing, movement activities, crafts and creative dramatics will all be part of this workshop.

ROCKIT! ACADEMYThe Rockit! Academy, our resident rock and roll performance program, is helmed by the Rockit! Live Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonpro� t organization. Rockit! runs four seven-week programs per year, where kids aged 8-18 learn a speci� c repertoire of songs supplemented with individual instruction. At the conclusion of their session, as many as forty-� ve young musicians form separate groups to perform live on the Basie’s historic Asbury Park Press stage.
