History continued.. 1717- first singing school (Boston) for bettering music in church

1700-1820 – there were 375 tuning books published

1832- Boston Academy of MusicTeach singing and theory as well as methods of teaching

Current “History” Less prevalent in schools

○ It sets the mood of the scene, or movie as a whole.

○ It can help set the mood of your classroom.
