Murwillumbah East Primary School Newsletter Term 4, Week 5 8th November, 2016 Murwillumbah Show Show day is always an exciting event for our students. 8 students competed in a relay event before school. The relay was a 800m event where each student ran 200m on the soft sand track of the field and they carried a piece of sugar cane for a baton. The teams consisted of Imogen Scott, Joanne Skinner, Toby Shapland, Mckenzie Sneddon, Yazmyne Cooney, Felicity Noble, Jai Barnard and Xane Bowen. Well done to our relay team members who showed excellent sportsmanship and enjoyed this wonderful community annual event. Congratulations MEPS students on a wonderful exhibit at the show. Our display definitely demonstrated the talents of our students in the creative arts. On Friday our students got to visit the show with their class. It was a very hot day but our students got to cool down with a well-deserved ice slushy.
