Take 9×4, you first look at the number that’s not the 9 (in this case the 4). Then you subtract 1 from that number (in

this case, 4-1=3). This will be the tens digit of your product. So now we know that 3 is the tens digit of the answer, so we need to find the ones digit. The coolest

thing about the 9′s facts is that the two digits in the product always add up to 9. So, if we know that the tens

digit is a 3, then the ones digit has to be a 6 (because
