Busch-AudioWorld® – The system

For pure voice transmission, intercom amplifier inserts are used. These allow announcements to be made in specific pre-defined rooms. A typical area of application is the waiting room.

For the primary use of music in larger rooms, the central unit with RDS tuner already offers extensive accessories like its own power pack and audio output.

Virtuosic. Solo or as duet. The Busch-iDock offers each iPod or iPhone a fixed place in the home. The Busch-iDock with its simple elegance blends with every environment. With the Apple remote control the iPod or the iPhone are easy to operate from a distance. Even MP3 players from other manufacturers can be connected to a 3.5 mm jack socket. The Busch-iDock offers excellent interplay with the Busch DigitalRadio or the integration with Busch-AudioWorld®.

The flush-mounted Busch-DigitalRadio recommends itself for smaller rooms such as waiting rooms or at home in the kitchen or bathroom, because, with its 5 cm loudspeaker insert, it represents a space-saving alternative.

Global reception, digital and limitless. Busch-Radio iNet. Today radio means Internet. Whether local or global stations - with the Busch-Radio iNet and WLAN Internet access you can receive your favourite station in every room.

All components can, of course, be combined with each other and with other devices and are suited for almost all Busch-Jaeger switch ranges.

The system can be operated in different ways: e.g. via the push-buttons of an Amplifer insert, via special KNX actuators or via the Busch-electronic potentiomer, as shown in the picture above. The potentiometer looks like a normal dimmer. Op-

eration of the MDRC amplifier via the electronic potentiometer is just as simple as it looks: turning the rotary knob first activates the MDRC amplifier and then the volume is adjusted.

In addition to playing music in medical or law firms, the intercom function is a useful way of communication. Patience relax while listening to the background music and time is passing by quickly. Suitable speakers can be installed in the waiting room. With the central microphone unit, selective announcements can be made to the waiting room or the individual treatment rooms. The individually assignable buttons of the central microphone unit guarantee easy, fast operation. Of course, it is also possible to respond from the
