Iron oxide – Au nanoparticles: combined contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and local heating by external magnetic field and/or light (magnetic hyperthermia and/or thermal ablation)

Iron oxide – Bi2S3 nanoparticles: contrast agents for both MRI and X-ray computerized tomography (CT)

Chiral Au nanoelements: detection of enantiomers of relevant chiral biomolecules: nucleic acids, proteins, drugs…
