Directions for Fall 2014 Session Plan to increase FPU class locations for fall 2011 from the 103 locations in fall
2010. The free Super Saving Seminar will be available online. This should expand
attendance from onsite seminars hosted in the past since many businesses do not have all their employees at one location.
Run one or more pilots of the new Dave Ramseys Foundations in Personal Finance for college students.
Provide FPU scholarships to Habitat for Humanity candidates in Utah and Idaho. In other states this program has resulted in much lower payment delinquencies.
Partner with Earn It Keep It Save It to provide financial education to their low income clients. They prepare 16,000 tax returns each year.
Community Outreach: Zions Bank reaching the milestone of 1,000 FPU classes, the new college student version of FPU, and scholarships for (1) single moms and (2) families with one of the parents serving overseas in the military, and (3) Habitat for Humanity families.
Our Military Relations Department will communicate availability of FPU classes to the military community in Utah and Idaho. Zions Bank will continue to scholarship the families of deployed military.
