SilverdaleWarragamba Action GroupThe group still exists and was set up to fight the Badg-
erys Creek Airport development 15 years ago The group has been in the news recently even though the government formally ruled out the construction of an airport at Badgerys Creek last year However airport affectation notices and re-quirements are still constraining development in the area with expensive insulation and double glazing required for being under the flight path
Silverdale resident John Harding is the only local person in the groupand wants the Federal Government to change the legislation and lift the ldquoairport designationrdquo from the Commonwealth land at and around Badgerys Creek
The 1700ha of the proposed site is still vacant

SWIM2SURVIVE
This innovative program has been specially designed for Babies amp Toddlers
This one-on-one teaching technique allows children to learn skills without waiting distractions and getting cold as young children often do The length of the class is long enough to reinforce skills learnt and to learn new skills but not too long for the child to become bored or cold and - most importantly - be away from Mum Young children can be easily distracted by numerous things when in a swimming lesson This ldquoSwim2Surviverdquo program will eliminate those distractions by offering
bull A private 10 min lesson reducing the waiting time and distractions for each child as in a group lesson bull Proven Swim2Survive skills program bull Greater value for money and greater results

Making Sense of SufferingHow can you make sense of suffering Suffering can
come to us in all shapes and sizes and it almost always causes pain What do we do with it Laugh it off Struggle through Become angry with God Give up in despair Or make a conscious decision to trust God and look to him trusting that he is a good God who is always working for our good and not for our harm
It is the experience of millions of Christians right throughout the ages that even though from time to time some extraordinarily sad things have happened to them they have found that their faith in our good and caring God has enabled them to persevere in even the toughest of times One member of our Church in her experience of great suffering echoed the thoughts of many others say-ing ldquoI can know I can stick with God because he will never let me downrdquo
ldquoMaking Sense of Sufferingrdquo is the title of the next Cof-fee Night to be held at Glenmore Park Anglican Church on Saturday 29th August getting underway at 745pm Come for the excellent desserts and the great coffee but more than anything come to find out how you can be equipped to ldquoMake Sense of Sufferingrdquo Would you like to know more Give me a call or book your spot on 4733 1635 Rev John Lavender Glenmore Park Anglican Church

Australia Post awardMargaret Fowler won the award for outstanding service
through the duration of the Fowler family holding the licence for the Wallacia Licensed Post Office for over 100 years
Ms Fowler said ldquoItrsquos all about the service when yoursquore a small business Technology changes but human nature doesnrsquot In the end people just want effective service and you canrsquot maintain momentum without good staff We have been very fortunate having so many good people work-ing hererdquo More than 1000 nominations were received from around the country with only 250 bicentenary medals
Insulation Rebate
The Federal Insulation rebate of $1600 for homeowners and $1000 for renterslandlords is still on for a long time yet
Why are they doing this The government wants every house in Australia to be fully insulated which will cut down on energy consumption reducing green house gas emis-sions Insulation reduces the need for heating and cooling making our homes much more energy efficient and can save you hundreds of dollars each year on electricity bills
All you need is a registered installer to provide you with a free measure and quote book in a time to have the insula-tion installed and sign a government work order form You do not need to pay upfront and get reimbursed The only cost is if the quotation is over the limit of $1600 ($1000 for renters landlords) but most average homes are covered
In a nutshell you can receive a service for FREE which is ultimately going to save you money and most important-ly will make your house more eco-friendly For your free measure and quote contact JampT Insulation on 4722 5687
