ATTENTION !!!When we are not sure whether or not we still have some of the things we are asking about, we say:• Are there any cookies in the cookie jar?• Is there any ice cream?
But if we think we still have some of the thing we are asking about, we say:• How much milk is there?• How many apples are there?
