Throughout the shop, there are numerous trashcans that get emptied daily. Please use these trashcans to discard of your debris. Do not leave it on the desks or on the floor.

If you pick up equipment and there is trash on the cart, throw it out.

Try not to leave personal items behind. We often find textbooks, papers, jackets, etc. left behind each night. Be aware of what you bring with you, and make sure you leave with the same items.

MTSS does have a ‘kitchen area’ which has a toaster oven, microwave, and coffee pot. If you use these appliances, you must clean up after yourself.

The floors and shelving areas are a dust magnet. When there is dust on those shelves, there is dust on our equipment. Use any down time to clean these areas.

There is a small refrigerator located in the back room (114) that is open for use. Be respectful and aware of what you put in there and be sure the refrigerator stays clean.

Cleaners are located above the kitchen area. They will not hurt you. Use them!

Every two weeks, a timesheet must be filled out by student workers in order to receive compensation for the time they have worked.

These timesheets can be filled out completely online on the Office of the Treasurer’s payroll website: http://payroll.pages.tcnj.edu/

Once on the site, timesheets can be accessed by clicking on the Timesheet X icon .

This link will bring up the login page for the time sheet software. Student workers will click on student login. This will bring up a login page where they will enter their TCNJ username and password in order to access their own personal timesheet.

Signing in will bring the student to their ‘My Jobs’ page. This page lists all current and old hires as a TCNJ employee.

Students can access specific timesheets by clicking on the job for which they are planning on filling out a timesheet.

When a student has accessed their current timesheet, hours can be added to it by clicking the link ‘Add New Entry’.

Students should fill out all hours they have worked in order to receive correct compensation.

Timesheets can be submitted by clicking ‘Submit Timesheet’ at the top right of the screen.

Timesheets are due at 5 PM on the Monday following the last day available to be worked in a specific timesheet.

Students must submit timesheets on time. Otherwise, it will not be guaranteed that they will be paid on Pay Day. The pay check will be processed the pay day after the time sheet is submitted.

Students must include any lunch time or breaks taken during their shift into account when filling out their timesheet.
