Practitioner Export is an MSOW Feature used as a quick reporting tool that allows users to automatically populate Excel sheets with large amounts of Practitioner Data such as ID Numbers, Office Addresses, aliases, etc. within minutes.
Find Practitioner Export feature in Practitioner section of Red Menu Button
This functionality allows the user to create a list of specific criteria list of the practitioner data items they would like to export into an Excel report. The system allows the user to save the export specification to be used again for future reports.
Once the export Specification has been created, users will still have the ability to modify it as they need by adding or deleting criteria items from the list, without having to create a new export specification each time.
Once you have selected the export specifications that you need for your report, the next step is to select the practitioner(s) whom you would like on your report.
On the criteria Blue tab, you may select one practitioner, or a batch of practitioners. Perhaps you would like to select every practitioner at your organization in the department of Medicine, in the section of Cardiology, who have the status of Active.
Often overlooked, the review (RVW) or “Rip Van Winkle” date field allows a user to ‘wake up’ a task on a particular date. MSOW will automatically notify the user to follow up on an incomplete Task by posting a message on the Employee Work List on the date indicated in the RVW date field.
The Holding tank is an automated functionality in the active workflow process that allows the user to enter a projected value of a practitioner board approval date, new facility status, and their next reappointment date, a few days, or weeks prior to the actual board approval date. When the user gets to the section of their workflow process that pertains to the board meeting, and updating the practitioner status in MSOW, the Holding Tank will then release those values and update the practitioner facility record automatically.
This is a time saving functionality for users who credential large volumes of new applicants.
