Minnesota Wild Fantasy Hockey

The Minnesota Wild held its first Fantasy Draft on October 19th for corporate partners with a love for fierce competition. Participants had the chance to show off their hockey knowledge in a mock NHL style draft. Each team consisted of two company representatives with 30 teams in total, where they drafted their own line-up consisting of 12 players throughout the NHL. Fantasy Sports which is located in Canada, conducted the draft and provided a light-hearted approach for our partners including a little bantering between teams/companies. Full bragging rights will be determined once the season has ended, along with a trophy for the winning team. After the draft, participants attended the Wild game vs. Vancouver where the Wild put on an impressive show defeating the Canucks 6-2. We encourage all teams to continue to check their standings and remain active in the weekly updates . If you were unable to participate this year, we hope to see you next year. It is a great opportunity to become more involved in the hockey scene and to network with other corporate partners of the Minnesota Wild. Good luck to all teams involved and may the best team win! Participants who have trouble logging in to the website or viewing their information can contact Mackenzie Ludowese at 651-312-3497 or at [email protected].

On Thursday, October 28th and Saturday, October 30th, Fuze had a special giveaway night in support of “Hockey Fights Cancer” during the month of October. Fans that made a $5 donation received a pink Wild scarf to wear during the game and to keep warm during the approaching Minnesota winter months. All proceeds during the two nights went to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Minneapolis chapter. The giveaway raised $10,650 for Susan G. Komen which is a generous donation to the Minneapolis Chapter! A special thanks to Coca-Cola and Fuze for their sponsorship in this great giveaway and especially to the fans and employees that made these nights such a huge success!!
