Ms. Rose A. Simmons is the daughter of Rev. Daniel Lee

Simmons, Sr., and Annie G. Simmons born 1964 in Mullins, South Carolina. Ms. Simmons attended South Carolina State University with studies in Music Education. She earned a Doctorate of Professional Cosmetology in 2016 for her over 32 years in the professional beauty industry.

In light of her father’s tragic passing in the Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church Bible Study Massacre on June 17, 2015, she has ben given an even greater work to serve mankind as an Ambassador for Peace through“The Gift of Forgiveness”.

To honor her father’s life and his triumphant death, Ms. Simmons serves as the Founder and President of The Rev. Daniel Lee Simmons, Sr., Memorial Legacy and Scholarship Fund.

Ms. Simmons travels throughout the nations spreading the hope of Jesus Christ by interjecting “LOVE” wherever there is “HATE”. She was a noted speaker with the ONERACE MOVEMENT, an assembly of more than 200 local Pastors and congregations in the Metropolitan Atlanta Area rallying for racial reconciliation in the body of Christ. She has an inspirational attitude towards life, and she is a national activist for racial healing in the church of Jesus Christ. She has been featured on several national and international television shows including Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), local news WTKR Norfolk, Virginia, in a featured special entitled “Love vs. Hate”, “The New York Times”, “AARP Magazine”, “Essence Magazine”, “The New Yorker Magazine,” The Washington Post, and the nationally syndicated “Hezekiah Walker Radio Show”, CREFLO DOLLAR MINISTRIES Broadcast, and “I-HEART Radio WGRB 1390” CHICAGO, The Maurette Brown Clark Radio Show, and The Willie Moore, Jr RADIO Program. In Summer 2018, Ms. Simmons filmed a Documentary entitled “CHICAGO:America’s Hidden War”, a feature film by FictionPictures, Directed by Dimas Salaberrios, Producer of EMANUEL. She is also a formative personality in “JESUS SUMMER 2018,” a forty (40)-Day Hunger-Strike of fasting and prayer for ending the tragedy of gun-violence in the impoverished neighborhoods of Chicago.

She has an appearance in the film-documentary “EMANUEL”, and is currently writing the script for “Justice By Grace: The Rose Simmons Story”, a LIFETIME made-for-tv movie about her life as an overcomer under immeasurable circumstances.

Ms. Simmons is soon to debut as the Director of “One Final Breath” a film documentary depicting the life and death of her father, hailing him a HERO.
