Districts are encouraged to have a wellcrafted sequence of compacted courses. Content should compact 3 years of content in 2 years, at most. In other words, compacting content from 2 years into 1 year would be too challenging. EVSC has chosen to compact 6 th ,7 th , and 8 th grade math into two years of accelerated math, Math 6 Honors and Math 7 Honors.
