MAY 10, 2007 ADAMS SCHOOL MOTHER'S DAY INSERT 11 COMPUTER ANIMATION On my vacation, I went to a computer anima- tion class with my neighbor and my brother. First, he showed us how to make the curtains open and close on stage. Then, we moved shapes on to the stage. My shape was a rect- angle with two small wheels. I had to go on the stage and do a 180, spin backwards and hit the ground with its wheels and go close to the curtain. Then a stick figure came out with a sword on to the stage. The next computer animation I made was a spring with big ears which bounced three times. It was hard to make it bounce. Then I made I made a person throw his sword jump off the wall and kick the sword down. I had never been to a camp, and I learned a lot about computers and that’s why it was so fun. Ben Borden SPRING BREAK On my vacation I went to Acapulco and I stayed in a hotel. We went to 5 beaches, which was just about all of them (except the beach with two hundred million rocks). There was this one ocean where my dad lost his glasses. For three days he could not see, but on the 4 th day, he bought glasses. By the time we got back to the bus I got a sun burn. We left at 6:30 pm and got back at 7:00am. Lino Celio BIRTHDAY PARTY! On my vacation, I went to a party with all my friends. It was so much fun. We ate some food then we ate some cake. After, we played lots of games, like hide and go seek and freeze tag. Then we broke a piñata that had lots of candy and chocolate. Then I went home at eight o’clock at night. Gloria Catalan VACATION On my vacation I went to day care. It was fun because we had an obstacle race and the captains were Jennifer, Millie, Nathan, and I. I was the red team, and my team members were Jacob, Steven Alegandro, Danny and Adrain. The second fun thing was that we went to Kids World and we had McDonald’s for lunch. It was so fun because I also got to go to Circuit City and I bought a Chris Brown CD. Katelynn Paredes MY VACATION On my vacation I slept in and watched TV with my brother and sister. I felt sad for my sister because she was sick, she had a cough. Poor thing, she got well just in time to go to school. I have to admit I’m glad to be back to school. Victor Garcia THE BEST VACATION On my vacation my cousins from Mexico came to California to visit us. We went to Ventura to go somewhere. I had so much fun with all of my cousins. The best part was when my cous- ins and I played soccer. Then we went to visit my other cousins that lived in Los Angeles. Jesus Duarte MY VACATION On my vacation I went to Ireland. I saw green grass and a lot of sheep. Also, my dad has a house there and my cousins from Ireland came too. I went horse back riding in Ireland. My horse’s name was Willow. My dad, stepmom, Sean, Pilar and I, all went from Dublin, Ireland to Cork, then from Dublin, I went to London. I came home for Easter and the Easter bunny gave me chocolates. Mia Heiden MY FAVORITE PART OF SPRING BREAK My favorite part of spring break was when Johnny and I tried to make an electric explosion, but it didn’t work. We put vinegar in a cup and mushed up some pencil tips, and we put the remaining pieces in the vinegar. Then we stuck in micro foam, and then then waited and waited. We never really had an explosion, but it was fun. Jack McKee SPRING VACATION On my spring vacation my dad said that I could get the puppy I wanted. The puppy was a girl. The puppy had soft fur. I like the puppy because it is little and cute. Her name is Pre- cious. The most important thing about my vacation is that I got a puppy. Priscilla Nolasco SPRING BREAK On my spring break I went to Davis Univer- sity, and it was beautiful. It had an Equestrian Center where you could get horseback riding lessons for college students. It was so cool. I hope I can attend Davis University. Ellia Limon MY DAY AT SKATING PLUS On my vacation I went to Skating Plus. At Skat- ing Plus, I skated with my friends around the disco ball. One of my friends didn’t know how to skate but now my friend knows how to skate. It was time for couples skating and my friends and I skated together. It was really fun at Skating Plus! Ynari Palma SPRING VACATION On my vacation, I dyed Easter eggs and I made an egg with legs and it had slippers. On Easter, I got a really big kite and we made silly putty with White Vinegar, baking soda, baking powder, red, blue, and green food coloring. I had so much fun! Johnny Saragosa LA DODGER GAME When we got to the park, it smelled like grass. I heard screaming and laughing during the game. It was so fun to be there! Gabriella Herrera MY SPRING VACATION On my vacation I went camping in Ojai, CA. I went camping with my mom and best friend. I did a lot of hiking. We all did an eight mile hike, but my mom made a mistake. That hike we went on was one long uphill mile. My friend and I were moaning and groaning about our feet and toes, because they hurt very badly! On Easter, my mom hid Easter eggs, and we had an Easter egg hunt. Amaia Laskin ON MY VACATION On my vacation we had a Softball Game and we won! The next day, we went to my grandpa’s birthday at Cody’s Restaurant. My favorite part about my vacation was when my Nana came over with her dog, Oliver for Easter dinner. After dinner, we took the dog for a walk with my grandpa. Allie Clevenger MY SPRING IN SAN FRANCISCO On my vacation, I went to San Francisco for two days. I went with my mom and my cousin, Stan. We went through the Golden Gate Bridge and we also went under the Bay Bridge. We had lots of fun! my VACAtionOn my vacation, I was really sick. I was sick because my head hurt. I was in bed all the time for two days. When I felt better, the next day, my mom and I went to get ice cream. We then went to the park to find Easter Eggs. I found 10 Easter Eggs, my older sister found 12, and my little sister found two!

my BeSt Spring VACAtionOn my Spring Vacation, I went to see my pup-pies. They were so cute! They were about the size of a marker box. When they lick you and their mouths get near your nose, their breath smells like the zoo. Sometimes they would bite and tackle each other, and it looked really funny. The person who owns them has twelve dogs, and, they are all labs. There are 8 pup-pies, plus the mom equals nine. Then, there are two yellow which equals 11, and there is a black lab. Their names are Emma (the mom), Sage and Lexi (the yellow), and Haley is the black lab. My aunt and cousin are getting a puppy from the same litter. They might get the runt, she is the cutest of the girls. When we had to leave it was nap time. I went to lay down with the puppies and we all pretended to be asleep. On Easter we went to church, and in church we did the flowering of the cross. Then we went home and had an Easter Egg
Hunt. I found 5 eggs! Then we dyed eggs, and made jello jigglers, which we had with our ice cream. Then my cousins had to go home. The best part of my vacation was seeing everybody have a great time!

my VACAtionOn my vacation I went to see Meet the Robinson’s in Disney Digital 3-D but before the movie they had a cartoon about the Chip-munks. The cartoon was about the chipmunks who had a macadamia nut that they thought was from the zoo. The chipmunks tried to get the nuts but the elephant sucked it in with his trunk. Then, one fell into a bucket of white paint and the other one had an idea to put all the paint around them. They wrote on a box “Rare Cuban Chipmunks." Donald Duck found the box and put them in a crate and they got as many nuts as they wanted.
