Super Bowl Raffle
We have officially kicked off our annual Super Bowl Raffle! We are raffling off a trip for two to attend the 2016 Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California. The winner will receive two tickets to the Super Bowl, hotel and air accommodations for two. Raffle tickets are $50, and anyone who purchases a ticket is entitled to attend our Super Bowl Blitz Auction and Social on Saturday, November 7th at 7 PM. The winner will be pulled at this event, but you do not have to be present to win. Tickets can be purchased through any SGS student, or through the front office of either campus. Msgr. W. J. Teurlings Mausoleum. There are 50+ Crypts & Cremation Niches available. Calvary Cemetery is a beautiful Catholic cemetery and we are constantly trying to meet the needs of our parishioners as well as the people of Acadiana. We invite everyone to visit the grounds and witness for yourself this beautiful and peaceful resting place for your loved ones. We are located at 355 Teurlings Drive @ Carmel Drive (Breaux Bridge Hwy) and the grounds are open to the public at 8:00 am, seven days a week. (closing time changes with Day Light Saving Time)
Calvary Cemetery Memorial Fence Memorial donations are being accepted for the wrought iron fence on Carmel Ave. and Teurlings Dr., the cost for each section of fence is $1,400. This price includes the installation of a brass plaque with your choice of names inscribed on each section you donate. A receipt will be provided for your tax purposes. Please give careful and prayerful consideration to help us beautify and secure the final resting place of our loved ones.
Crucifix on the Hill Calvary Cemetery’s large Crucifix on the hill in the center of the cemetery at the head of Msgr. W. J. Teurlings’ grave, will be illuminated at night. Special Thank you goes to Tommy Prejean with Prejean and Sons Plumbing LLC for donating labor, parts and the underground wiring for the spot lights.

The Sacrament of Marriage
Diocesan policy requires couples to contact a parish
priest at least six (6) months prior to their desired
date. Please contact the rectory offices for more
details or you may pick up a wedding packet in the
sacristy or on line at www.stgens.net
The Sacrament of Baptism
Baptism is celebrated once a month. Diocesan policy
requires attendance at a Baptismal preparation course.
At least one Godparent Must be: †Catholic †at least 16
yrs of age †have received the sacraments of baptism & confirma-
tion, †If married, must be validly married in the church †be able
to receive Holy Communion, the other may be a Christian witness.
Please contact the parish offices or pick up a Baptism packet in the
sacristy. Pre-registration is required.

When making funeral arrangements, one must make
arrangements with the priest before contacting and
finalizing arrangements with the funeral home.
