Together we can make a difference

•Schedule 20 minutes of special time everyday to listen to your child read. Check-in & assist with homework.•Provide a quiet workplace for your child to complete their homework.•Go to the school library, public library, or to the local bookstore once each week and read a new book together. •Have your child read and reread familiar books. The repeated reading helps to establish a habit of fluent reading. •Check their backpacks daily, check the school & district websites for great links for your child, support homework, attend parent conferences, go to parent trainings and events, volunteer if you can, sign papers to return to school, speak with your child daily about school, and be there for your child!•New Volunteer Policy – If you choose to volunteer in your child’s classroom district administration would like for us all to follow a few simple rules.
