It’s a bar, a restaurant, a lounge room and a late night club all rolled into one – and it’s all yours! It’s the one-size-fits-all venue – right in the centre of the Melbourne CBD. Drop in for a quick visit, linger with friends or just hit the couches and soak up the atmosphere. Stay for a delicious meal, a quick snack, real coffee (made by real baristas), a glass of Barefoot wine or an award winning beer from the Mildura Brewery. Festival Lounge opens half an hour before the first session of the day and is open til late every night – even later on Friday and Saturday nights, where we bust out the DJs and good tunes. You’ll find the Festival Lounge in The Cube, ACMI galleries Level – if you’re at the Box Office, take the escalators downstairs. Entry is free, so come on down! 1 ACMI CINEMAS Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square, Melbourne ACMI is our Festival hub, with our main screening cinemas, ticket purchase and collection, Festival Lounge and Opening and Closing Night parties. 2 GREATER UNION MELBOURNE CITY CINEMAS 131 Russell Street, Melbourne Greater Union Russell St is our secondary screening venue. Tickets booked online for sessions at Greater Union must be picked up from ACMI. 3 LOOP 23 Meyers Place, Melbourne Loop is our Celluloid Casserole screening venue. The annual Festival Raffle is full of fabulous gifts for you, and helps the MQFF continue our work. Visit the Festival Lounge or flag down a Festival vollie to get your tickets.
