It will also provide you with important information regarding living on campus. MOVE-IN GUIDE NEW STUDENTS If you are a new student, you will move in on Friday, September 11 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., depending on your scheduled move-in time. On move-in day park your car in the designated unloading zone. Peer Advisers (PAs) and the Purple Posse move-in crew will meet and assist you in moving your belongings to your room. After checking in and receiving your key from your Resident Assistant (RA), be sure to visit a Wildcat Welcome center to receive additional important information. FALL 2015 RETURNING STUDENTS If you are a returning student, you may move in any time after 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17. On the day you choose to move in, go to your neighborhood desk to receive your room key and other move-in information. The neighborhood desks are open 24 hours a day. PRIOR TO MOVE-IN
On August 17 you will receive an
email in your Northwestern student
email account to sign up for a move-
in time. The move-in time will be a
45-minute block of time in which
you will park near your residence hall
to unload your vehicle.
After you sign up for a move-in
time, you will be sent an email with
a link to your parking permit.
Your permit will contain important
information regarding your unload-
ing zone, check-in location, and time
for move-in. Be sure to print a copy
of your personalized move-in permit.
If you do not print your permit, this
may delay your move-in process.

SHIPPING ITEMS IN ADVANCEIf you would like to ship some of your
belongings before you arrive, please
refer to the Ship to Northwestern
program website. By using this
service, items will be placed in your
room prior to your arrival.
