You are hereby invited to aend the 2015 West Virginia District Kiwa- nis Convenon, hosted by Divisions 5/6, August 7-9, 2015, at the Cacapon Resort in Berkeley Springs, WV. For those Kiwanians aending with their spouse or a guest, the full Convenon registraon fee is $40 for both. If you are aending as an individual the full Convenon registraon fee is $30. If you are only aending the Saturday sessions and the House of Delegates the registraon fee is $20. (See pg. 2 for full details.) Events of Importance The thrust of the Convenon is to further develop the future of the WV District through connued growth. Last year’s convenon fleshed out the “The Formula” for growth. Since last year our For- mula Chair, Kevin Dean, has been forced to resign due to job and Trustee pressures. Blake Williams has stepped forward to be the new chair. We welcome Blake to this new posion and we need to support him as we supported Kevin. Last year, we lost over a 150 members in the October deleons. This put us in jeopardy of losing our District status as our membership total dropped to 875. We have added 62 new members net since October 1 of last year, so we now stand at 937. We must get back over 1,000 members and hold that number aſter October 1, 2015 or we will drop to what is called a “District in Formaon.” Ladies and gentlemen, we do not want to be in that situaon. Collec- vely, we must go out and recruit new members and build at least two new clubs—three would be beer. We can do this! The money is in the budget to help with costs. All it takes is the me and willing- ness to do the job. As in past years, there will be training sessions, board meengs, and a House of Delegates session. This year we will be vong on a re- vised set of Bylaws which incorporate the changes mandated by re- cent acons of the Kiwanis Internaonal House session from Chiba, Japan. These changes are in the aached Bylaws PDF.

CALL TO THE 2015 DISTRICT CONVENTION
Dear Kiwanian!
You are hereby invited to attend the 2015 West Virginia District Kiwa-nis Convention, hosted by Divisions 5/6, August 7-9, 2015, at the Cacapon Resort in Berkeley Springs, WV.
For those Kiwanians attending with their spouse or a guest, the full Convention registration fee is $40 for both. If you are attending as an individual the full Convention registration fee is $30. If you are only attending the Saturday sessions and the House of Delegates the registration fee is $20. (See pg. 2 for full details.)
Events of Importance
The thrust of the Convention is to further develop the future of the WV District through continued growth. Last year’s convention fleshed out the “The Formula” for growth. Since last year our For-mula Chair, Kevin Dean, has been forced to resign due to job and Trustee pressures. Blake Williams has stepped forward to be the new chair. We welcome Blake to this new position and we need to support him as we supported Kevin.
Last year, we lost over a 150 members in the October deletions. This put us in jeopardy of losing our District status as our membership total dropped to 875. We have added 62 new members net since October 1 of last year, so we now stand at 937. We must get back over 1,000 members and hold that number after October 1, 2015 or we will drop to what is called a “District in Formation.”
Ladies and gentlemen, we do not want to be in that situation. Collec-tively, we must go out and recruit new members and build at least two new clubs—three would be better. We can do this! The money is in the budget to help with costs. All it takes is the time and willing-ness to do the job.
As in past years, there will be training sessions, board meetings, and a House of Delegates session. This year we will be voting on a re-vised set of Bylaws which incorporate the changes mandated by re-cent actions of the Kiwanis International House session from Chiba, Japan. These changes are in the attached Bylaws PDF.

In addition, ads are a great way for a local business or nonprofit, Kiwanis club, or K family member to promote their work or recognize an individual. Please consider purchasing an ad in the program this year by completing and re-turning this form.
