High Density Passive Optical LAN Workgroup Terminal Overview: The Motorola ONT6000GET high-density workgroup terminal is designed to deliver a full range of advanced voice, data, and IP video services over a converged all- optical local area network (LAN). With greatly improved enterprise fiber deployment methods, enterprises can economically access the power of an all-fiber network while achieving significant capital and operational sav- ings. The ONT6000GET is part of Motorola’s Passive Optical LAN (POL) solution and based on proven gigabit pas- sive optical networking (GPON) technology. Motorola’s ONT6000GET is easily deployed into areas where high concentrations of stationary Ethernet devices or ap- plications exist. The ONT6000GET provides line-rate gigabit services at distances of up to 20km from the datacenter which greatly reduces the cost, complex- ity, and operational requirements associated with the deployment of traditional multi-tiered and legacy data networking technologies. The high-density ONT- 6000GET comes in a 2 RU configuration that can be conveniently located in any MDF or IDF and be either rack or wall mounted. The ONT6000GET has twelve 10/100/1000BaseT interfaces to any stationary Ether- net device via existing CAT 5 and CAT 6 cabling. As increased broadband throughput, and support for video applications is needed, the ONT6000GET is ready to serve the enterprise network today with tech- nology that will readily grow and adapt into the future. The Motorola POL portfolio includes the AXS1800 Enterprise Aggregation Switch (EAS), the ONT1120GE workgroup terminal, the ONT6000GET high density workgroup terminal, and AXSvision, Motorola’s simple and highly graphical user interface. Highlights include: • Enables the delivery of secure converged networks providing quality IP voice, gigabit data services, and any enterprise video application • Enables easy installation supported through pre- provisioned service profiles • Provides a cost-effective, scalable solution for initial rollout or full deployment • Addresses evolving “Green IT”initiatives • Provides 12 10/100/1000bT stationary Ethernet connections • Provides 24 POTS or VoIP lines • Works with existing in-building wiring including CAT 5 • Uninterruptible power supply to assure continuing operation in emergency situations • Compact design is rack/wall mountable and easily fits into any intermittent distribution frame (IDF) environment DATA SHEET Motorola ONT6000GET The ONT6000GET High Density Workgroup Terminal offers: • Symmetrical throughput in support of any voice, data, and video application • Quality and reliable delivery of legacy voice and next generation VoIP services • Advanced configuration management tools reduce cost to connect and maintain

Overview:The Motorola ONT6000GET high-density workgroup terminal is designed to deliver a full range of advanced voice, data, and IP video services over a converged all-optical local area network (LAN). With greatly improved enterprise fiber deployment methods, enterprises can economically access the power of an all-fiber network while achieving significant capital and operational sav-ings.
The ONT6000GET is part of Motorola’s Passive Optical LAN (POL) solution and based on proven gigabit pas-sive optical networking (GPON) technology. Motorola’s ONT6000GET is easily deployed into areas where high concentrations of stationary Ethernet devices or ap-plications exist. The ONT6000GET provides line-rate gigabit services at distances of up to 20km from the datacenter which greatly reduces the cost, complex-ity, and operational requirements associated with the deployment of traditional multi-tiered and legacy data networking technologies. The high-density ONT-6000GET comes in a 2 RU configuration that can be conveniently located in any MDF or IDF and be either rack or wall mounted. The ONT6000GET has twelve 10/100/1000BaseT interfaces to any stationary Ether-net device via existing CAT 5 and CAT 6 cabling.
As increased broadband throughput, and support for video applications is needed, the ONT6000GET is ready to serve the enterprise network today with tech-nology that will readily grow and adapt into the future.
The Motorola POL portfolio includes the AXS1800 Enterprise Aggregation Switch (EAS), the ONT1120GE workgroup terminal, the ONT6000GET high density workgroup terminal, and AXSvision, Motorola’s simple and highly graphical user interface.
Highlights include:• Enables the delivery of secure converged networks providing quality IP voice, gigabit data services, and any enterprise video application
• Enables easy installation supported through pre- provisioned service profiles
• Provides a cost-effective, scalable solution for initial rollout or full deployment
• Works with existing in-building wiring including CAT 5
• Uninterruptible power supply to assure continuing operation in emergency situations
• Compact design is rack/wall mountable and easily fits into any intermittent distribution frame (IDF) environment
