Make Mask1.Go to Insert then under Shapes choose Rectangle

Make it big, then type the word that you want inside the rectangle make also the font big

2.Then under Font style choose Arial Black

(Depends on your choice)

Now go to Format, we will use Text Fill , Text Outline and Weight

For the Fill it should be in contrast with the background color

And for the Outline, same with the Fill and under Weight option ,choose 3pt so that there will be volume in the outline

(Depends on your choice)

Then after furnishing the font now navigate to Shape fill which is also under Format

3. Shape fill should be the same with the background

Then in the Shape Outline choose No Outline

After that it should look like these (choosing white as background)

4. Cut the shape then right click and under Paste Options choose picture

(it will become an image)

5. Now go to Format, but this time it is a Picture choose Color Set the color to Transparent(make sure that you can see this tool)6. Then using that tool click the text then the Text Fill will automatically disappear (it will become like this)

All Together Now

Text( Arial black )

You have now created your Mask!

How to create Gradient Shape?

Go to Insert then choose Shape choose your preferred shape ( I will choose Pikachu!, just kidding! Rectangle is the shape). Then go to format then click Shape Fill under shape fill choose Gradient then click More Gradient choose Gradient fill then decide for your shape fill and click okay

Then click on the Gradient shape got to Format then erase the shape outline by going to the

then click again on the Gradient shape if you want to rotate it see the green ball at the top of the gradient? that's it!.

Tips!.

If you want to use video clip make sure it is for free and not too long, you can find many in the internet just search motion effect video clips

Same with image just be sure that the image quality can still be seen even you change the size

As for the gradient let your imagination explore!

After inserting the desired background resize it to not more than the mask that you created you will see that your mask is already transparent then right click on the video then click send to back after that you will now see your background behind the mask.

Remember :

When using Video Clip make sure that it is set in auto play to do so just simply click the video

Then you will see the video tools in the upper right of the ribbon click on playback and check the rewind after playing and start automatically.

Once you’ve done steps 1 and 2 you are now ready for the easiest and final step!, animating your background :3

Just simply insert your video and make sure that it is not bigger than you Mask! Then send to back, set it to automatic then with previous if you want to add text animation to your video just simply click Animations in the Top Middle part of the Ribbon

Then click on Add animation (you can only choose several effects) there are 4 categories the Entrance, Emphasis, Exit, and Motion Path Effects

Same with the video clip but now you can choose many different effects you just need to use your imaginative thinking, I prefer using the motion path or emphasis effect for it will make your picture look like it is moving just follow the same procedure just like with the video clip to access the animation tool.

Add Animation Tool

Once you created your other Shape fill with the Gradient just follow these steps

1. Right Click on the 2nd Shape fill (the one without the mask), then send to back

2. Right click on the Gradient Shape and you will find an arrow next to the send to back option there you will find send backward

3. After that your mask should now look like the one below
