• Motion graphics is “Graphical communications that result in

change over time”.

• In other words graphics that create the illusion of

movement through animation or video.

• Moving visual graphics can be seen in broadcasting,

websites ,TV advertising and interactive menus.

• Basically anything that needs visual impact relevant to its

target audience and subject.

All variations of websites more or less contain motion graphics.

This can include web banners advertisement or simply in-web

animated features and transitions.

Another example of use of motion graphics is in animated captions; usually gif files and simple looped

animation; tradition animation.

A sting is a short animated video, likewise with an indent (only

difference being is that an indent is usually shorter.)

Think of these as animated logos or stamps to let you know what your

watching.

they can be intros for a website or program, for example the CBEEBIES

short intro.

• Compressing any formats = loss in quality

• Higher resolution = better quality image

• Relevant output formats for relevant situations. For example

you cannot use .flv format in Aftereffects. Some examples of this include WMV, .MOV, AVI,

MPG, MP4.• Most commonly used frame rate

is 24fps. It provides a smooth animation and results in an

average file size.

The main issue with motion graphics is TIME.

Rendering is the biggest downside.

It must be done.

And the only way to avoid this

Is to have a powerful computer.

Excluding the downsides it’s a beautiful way to express and

represent surreal and eye catching jellyfish?
