Laboratory Vehicles Testing & Inspection Laboratory is one of the laboratories of Saudi
Specialized Laboratories Co. (MOTABAQAH), it is the first specialized lab in the
kingdom has the ultimate license from the ministry of commerce and industry along
with international accreditation based on the international standard specification
(ISO 17025:2005), the laboratory tests and calibrates all types of vehicles such as
passenger cars, pick-ups, heavy duty transportation cars and trucks. The Laboratory
covers all class and styles where it is equipped with latest testing and calibration
equipments from German and US Inveterate companies as well as qualified and
trained technicians to do the required tests and inspections to ensure the safety of
vehicles.

The Provided Services by
the Lab The most important services provided by the laboratory is to ensure
the validity of the vehicle for the safety of the driver and road users and
for Preservation of the environment through:
• Test and calibrate more than 50 items of the vehicle such as tires,
vvmain breaks, front glass, safety belts, radiator, and coolant set. …etc.
• Ensure that, incoming Vehicles to the kingdom are conformable
to the specifications of Saudi and international standard.
• Ensure that, vehicles were not subject to amendment, or incidents,
or sinking, and has not been used such as rent or taxi or other purpose
in their origin countries.
• Ensure that, vehicles are conformed with requirements issued
from certain agencies for vehicles and weather conditions in Saudi
Arabia.
• The laboratory offers services for all importers of vehicles and also
companies and individuals wishing to ensure the safety of vehicles.
