Mostra IV: Brazilian Film Series is presented by the Illinois and São Paulo Chapters of the Partners of the Americas, a non-profit Volunteer organization, which for over 45 years has connected people from the US and all of Latin America through person to person diplomacy programs. Our mission is to develop a greater understanding and vision in the areas of Arts & Culture, Youth Leadership, Social Issues, Environment, Business, Urban Planning & Development, and Health.

It has been my greatest pleasure to organize the initial structure of this project which started three years ago. I had a vision for a cinematic project that would not only entertain, but also inform. MOSTRA brings the real Brazil to America and is quickly becoming a valuable asset to our cross cultural relationship.

MOSTRA IV: Brazilian Film Series will be presented again in the Midwest in November 2013. MOSTRA IV intends to promote a greater understanding of the Brazilian culture and its social issues through film. Discussions with renowned Brazilian Directors will be presented, making it an educational, interactive and unforgettable experience for all who participate.

Annually in the first half of November.
