Describe the service and how your team helps credit unions.Aggregation Services was established by CDW to help financial services firms aggregate their telecom, cloud and managed services. What challenges are you seeing in the industry?One of the biggest challenges for credit unions is managing their telecommunications services. Staying on top of carriers and billings is often a nightmare because firms rarely have the time or patience for the fine detail required to ensure carrier billing is correct, so expenses just skyrocket out of control. That is an area where our team can quickly gain some savings for a credit union. In fact, after an initial assessment we often find a minimum of 40% in savings on what a firm is currently spending on its telecommunications. Since this is usually the largest expense for a firm, after payroll, savings is critical.

What takes place during an assessment?The assessment is a five-step process that thoroughly reviews customers’ operations and vendor billings to fully understand their current situation and accurately assess their voice and data needs. For example, when we review for the Telecom Assessment, we:• Pull CSRs on all accounts at all locations• Pull utilization on all data and voice circuits• Call all numbers at the business and verify if they’re active or ring with no answer• Review PBX leases and maintenance contracts• Review SmartNet contracts We also conduct in-depth discovery on cost recovery processes, bill approval processes, market analysis and help desk services.
