MORE MUSICMORE FOODMORE BARSMORE EXPERIENCESMORE MOMENTUMMORE MIDDLE WAVESMiddle Waves Music Festival returns to Headwaters Park on Friday, September 15th and Saturday, September 16th for two days of Fort Wayne putting its best fort forward.

We’re here to celebrate the momentum in our corner of the Midwest: the music, art, food and positive vibes that breathe life into our fair city, and keep us wide awake well after the sun goes down.

We’re non-profi t and volunteer-driven, because we believe in this community, this region, its people and its curiosity and its appetite and its sense of adventure and very specifi cally, because we believe in you, Fort Wayne.

Rivers are rising.Energy is rising.Volume is rising.

THIS IS MIDDLE WAVES.

Saturday, 9:15PM, St. Marys Stage

Middle Waves Music Festival 2017 headliner MGMT burst onto the scene in 2008 with Oracular Spectacular on Columbia Records, achieving audio ubiquity with hits “Kids,” “Electric Feel,” “Time to Pretend” and more, along with Grammy nods and worldwide accolades. In June 2017, the band announced their new record is fi nished and imminently due. Expect audio/visual greatness on the St. Marys Stage.

The Lemon Twigs are led by singing, songwriting, multi-instrumentalist brothers, Brian and Michael D’Addario, who craft delectably beautiful power-pop that’s one part Beatles, one part Big Star. The Twigs spent the summer on the festival circuit—Coachella, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits—and they’ll arrive at FWA fresh from a tour with Phoenix.

Friday, 7:45PM, St. Marys Stage

Saturday, 1:30PM, St. Marys Stage

DIARRHEA PLANETGuitar RockNashville, TN

Saturday, 3:15PM, St. Marys Stage

Nashville’s Diarrhea Planet hits like a tidal wave—their four-guitar attack of power-pop and pop-punk is giddy and unstoppable, and irresistible fun. MORE THAN MUSICWe say “music festival” because “music-and-art-and-culture-and-food-and-drink-and-ridiculously-awesome-experiences festival” takes up too much space on the poster. But really, Middle Waves is about more than music—we’ve got weird & wonderful funtivities planned throughout the festival.
