Bringing Moore IndoorsSolid relationships are the cornerstone of every successful partnership. While working with property managers and owners on their exterior landscapes and snow management plans, we’re often asked, “Do you do interior work? It would be so nice to have one company handle it all.”

We realized that our staff collectively has 45 years of experience in interior landscapes, including award-winning designers and installers, which gives us the ability to bring another segment of service to our customers. So now when we’re asked if we do interior work, the answer is a resounding “Yes!”

Here are some key advantages to using Moore Landscapes, Inc. for your interior landscape needs:

•Workingwithonecompanymeansacomprehensiveapproach to communication and flow of paperwork, including invoicing and those all-important budgets. Having fewer contacts to juggle brings ease to your day.

•Ourteamofexpertstakeasustainableapproachtoaddressing problems. While maintaining clean air and water is part of our exterior management standards, it’s also essential to indoor life. We use the most current Integrated Pest Management solutions to keep everyone and everything healthy and well.

The days of summer may be departing, but there is still much to be done to keep landscapes in prime condition.

Spring BulbsLate September through early November is the best time to install your bulbs for next year’s early-spring display. A good mix of early-, mid- and late-season varieties provides extended flowering. To stretch budget dollars, a naturalized mix with grasses or other perennials gives you a spring lift that transitions with ease into summer.

Winter GreeneryContainers and beds of evergreen boughs artfully blended with twigs and berries offsets the dreariness of winter. They also represent the traditions of the holidays. During times of stress, we need to preserve traditions, because they serve as emotional anchors that provide calm and a thread of stability for residents and visitors.

4

Snow FenceYou can protect your landscape investment this winter by planning ahead. A quality snow fence protects shrubs from crushing drifts and salt damage. Inexpensive fencing can cost you more in the long run as it can easily tear in harsh winds, so let us help you determine the best-value solution for your site.

4

Critter ControlYour landscape has made it this far, so don’t let it become ravaged by feeding varmints or other animals. Protective fencing and repellents will help to minimize winter damage and costly replacements next spring.

Anti-desiccant Treatments for EvergreensYour broadleaf evergreens, such as boxwood and rhododendron, need extra protection during the winter

to reduce moisture loss that leads to browning (known as “winter burn”) and death. We recommend an application of an anti-desiccant spray, which coats the leaf surface with a waxy film. Sprays should be applied only when the air temperature is above freezing.
